It’s finally spring time here at the farm and the sun on my feathers feels wonderful! The weather is warm, there is grass to scratch through, and lots of bugs to eat. My fellow hens and I are quite happy. It is pretty here on the farm too. Flowers are blooming and the landscape is lush and green.
The owners also seem to be enjoying the weather! They too have been digging through the dirt; but they plant seeds, I just eat them. They are hoping to have a nice crop of herbs, fruits, veggies, and flowers later on in the season. So far I have seen tomatoes, chives, dill, parsley, sunflowers (my favorite), and eggplants going in the dirt. The owners are happy, they’ve started sprouting!
Herbs and sunflowers!
Beautiful splashes of color.
